LPX - Environment "Snap Way Broken"

I'm glad to see the Environment is still there.

It's one of the things that makes Logic truly unique among all other DAWs.

And ... I spend a lot of time there.

However:

It's totally "gone nuts".

It's as if LPX is snapping things to "where ever !!"

Sometime I just click on an item ... and it goes flying off !!

And ... Snap on or off seems to have no effect.

Anyone else have this issue?

Mac Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4), 12TB-StripeRaid-20GBram-GTX285

Same here ... it's good to know I'm not alone.

I've been using the align command to keep things together.

But ... I'm not trying to do any real work with Logic X yet.

I make heavy use of the environment and at this point ... I don't trust it.

Also:

the buss system seems to be misbehaving.

I can't seem to use two mono pairs as stereo;

which is something I do for parallel processing often.

Thanks for the reply

I have two monitors hooked to a Nviada GeForce GTX285 video card.

one 1920x1200 and the other 2560x1440.

And the "crazy snap" seems to behave a little differently from one monitor to the next.

Things are a little better on the bigger monitor, but still broken.

I've assigned a function key to the -align object- command

and use it all the time to keep things a little more in control.

Definitely! ... something is badly broken in the environments window.

And the channel strips are still the same as LP9 ... What's up with that?

A few days later …

Apparently ... If everything fits on the screen at once (so that no scroll bars show up)

then life is good and the placement of everything behaves.

But ... If any item is slightly off the screen ... then all bets are off.
