HboGo is not working on my AppleTV. Keeps telling me to go to website and enter activation code. Please help!

I have an HBOGO account through DirectTV. I've been using HBOGO on my Apple tv since it came out on the last update but for some reason it wont work for me today. When i try to watch a show it sends me to the "ACTIVATE HBO GO" screen. I tried re-activating it, restarting appletv and even disconnecting it but it still does not work! Am i the only one? Can someone please help? Thanks :)

I just posted the same question!


I called Directv because I came across the message "you do not have HBO service", but I know that I do.


I verified that HBO is working on my directv, and I called directv to ask.


After a long wait/discussion with directv tech service, they told me that they are aware of the problem and are working on it.


So far, nothing seems fixed.


I clicked on other providers (ATT, Cox, TimeWarner, etc.) to see if they would direct me to a username/password challenge, and they all did. With directv I only get a black box -- as if the communication link between HBOgo and directv is severed.
