Can Garagband files be imported into Adobe Audition?

My daughter is attempting to record voices in Garageband and then apply effects. She wants to use these files in a Adobe Flash annimation movie. Is this possible? If so, how in the world do you do that? We saved the Garageband files and then tried to import them into Adove Audition, but the files are grayed out.
