midi plugin to multi instruments

I'm trying to figure out how to use the new midi plugins in M3 with a multi-layered instrument sound.

For example if I have 3 instruments loaded on 3 channel strips, how can I used a single midi arp on that layered sound?

right now the midi plugin can be inserted on a single instrument channel, and effect only that one instrument, not other instruments on other strips that are comprising the overall layered sound. I can't figure out how to route the midi from the plugin to all three instruments.

Anyone know?

I guess perhaps M3 needs a new channel type, midi channels, that would only process midi and then could be used to feed one or more instrument channels as virtual midi sources.

As stated, imagine having to keep the settings of 3 or more ARP plugins syncronized as you are tweaking and adjusting it and dialing it in.... yea its kind of a PITA.

Plus I have other more interesting things I want to using the scriptable plugin and again, that will be a PITA to have to keep multiple instances of the plugin syncronized.
