iPod Classic 120 GB (2009)

Two days ago, it quit turning on. I've left it plugged in to a power source all night, tried a hard reset (Menu + Select), plugged it in to iTunes, and nothing works. When plugged in to iTunes, I get the following message: 'The iPod software update Server could not be contacted. The server does not support this version of iTunes.' My iTunes software is up to date. Any ideas?
