How do I filter apps at the app store?

I have no need for many catagories of app and find that I am unindated with mostly apps wuth those categories.

Examples.. I do not care to ever see these categories:

- games

- sports

- music

- social networking

- photography

- weather

- health and fitness

So, as you can see - most of of the apps fall within these categories I find of no use/interest. So, I end up searching and wasting time scanning past these apps.

How to I omit application categories from my view of those that I may find of interest at the app store?

Thanks Axeman, that is what I felt was the case... a limited perspective of the developers requires that I search for an app that may fall within many categories results in my not being able to do what I want and find what I want, purchase it and move on. Instead I get frustrated and solve it the way I know and use the apps I have on other OS'.

Rather shallow plan that requres that the user has to be non-productive searching instead of finding what they need, and install it.

I am like many people I know... I go into a "store" find what I want and leave. If it is not easily found then I leave anyway. "Shopping" is time wasted with no value (even to the retailer) since all I do is get frustrated... I do not impulse purchase. The end results are that I do not purchase (there) and I return less and less frequently as I determine (by empirical results) that the chance of successfully finding the desired product is minimal.
