When I am recording a video on my iPhone 4S, an incoming call will interrupt the recording and stop it. I have not found a setting that addresses this issue.

Apple should change this so that there is a prompt to take the call without interrupting the video. Then if the person chooses to take the call the video recording is stopped. That way it is not possible for anyone to have an important recording interrupted if they forget to put the phone into airplane mode. Android and Windows phones both have it set up that way.
If that actually worked this would have been fixed years ago, this has been an issue since the first iPhone came out. They just keep releasing dumb new features without addressing important old ones.
I agree with Axeman1020, if the recording is that important, and you risk receiving a phone call, then I would put the device into Airplane mode until done with recording. Your calls will go to voicemail and if it is important the caller should leave a message. If they don't leave a message, it wasn't that important to start with.

That is not correct. You also have the option to have DND active all the time, even when no locked. Change the Setting from Only when iPhone is locked, to Always.
I have bever run into this situation. It doesn't allow you to just dismiss the call and keep recording?
Airplane mode will kill all communications until you are done recording.
Thanks CrhisJ4203. I was surprised to find out there was no regular setting to prevent a phone call from interrupting a recording. If I'm recording, it's probably something I don't want to have cut off unexpectedly. Seems like a no-brainer to me. I often turn the ringer off anyway.

I guess the only comment I can make here is that it is a phone first, that is why you have to go into Airplane mode. That is actually the regular setting to disable the phone anyway.

The do not disturb only functions when iPhone is locked so call will still come through while recording and this stop the recording. Only way is airplane mode
