I bet you are - in which case, it can take a while for the message to send.

Hmm ... My number is +1. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong - I'll keep trying until I can get it working.

smcclay, thank you so much! You did a great point for a phone number. I didn’t have a + before 1. After reboot everything set up by itself. Even Mac’s iMessage set up SMS itself.

UPDATE: I got a hex code again but once again I get the invalid data entry error.

What carrier are you trying this on? Prepaid or postpaid?

It is a WIND prepaid. But everything worked out thankfully ^.^

I just typed "enter:" instead of searching for the "GSM SMS…" string. worth a shot!

Simpler terms is this just to activate your WIND phone number to imessage services? Will any international fees apply?

The problem for me was that there was no phone number in Settings > Phone > My Number. Once I added the number (prepended with the +1), I was able to go through the process.

Both iMessage and FaceTime work for me on Wind network with an iPhone6 (after activating my number via the steps outlined earlier).

I had turned off my WiFi before testing both services.

This is turning into a deal breaker for me with Wind as I'm a frequent user of the text message forwarding function on my Apple devices. Any updates on what changed on Apples side?

i just it last week on a 6+, no issues.
