I made this thought this might help, let me know if I need to revise

    Step 1:

Make sure your phone is connected to Wind turn off iMessage and FaceTime

    Step 2:

    1. Dial: *KOOL*CSI# (*5005*274#) and hit Dismiss button.
    2. Dial: *KOOL*DIAG# (*5005*3424#) and hit Dismiss button.
    3. Reboot Phone

    Step 3:

    1. Turn iMessage on
    2. Dial: *KOOL*STATE# (*5005*78283#)
    3. Press "Reply" (big green button).
    4. Enter a description of the problem.
    5. Press "Reply" (upper right corner).

    Step 4:

    1. Sync phone with iTunes
    2. Go into the designated folder:

    Mac: ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/[Your_User_Name]/Baseband

    Windows 7 and Vista:

    C:\Users\[Your_User_Name]\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice\[Your_User_Name]\Baseband\

    Windows 8:

    C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice\\

    3.  should be in baseband and should be the first .txt you see

    4.  Do command+f or control+f and search for 'GSM SMS Point to Point PDU (as hex str):’

    5.  There will be a very long code underneath - copy the whole code

    6.  Go to http://theonlinemac.com/wind

    7. Paste and submit and wait 5 min

The only problem I'm running into, I've been trying to troubleshoot this for a while but with all the tinkering and variables im changing, nothing seems to work. I am getting my Baseband Logs but they are not the ones I want. The only 'GSM SMS.." hexadecimal string I get is from regular texts coming from my contacts. All the strings I'm getting from the +44 number consist of it saying I'm sending a message, and the attempt to resend it, but still nothing. Any ideas? If I can get that string I'd be home freeSender.png+44.pngiMessage activation.png

*EDIT* since I am on a prepaid plan (meaning I pay at the start of the month for service so if i happent to go over my limits, it will just stop me, not charge me an extra $100) I'm not able to text to outside North America, so I put $5 on my phone, get the logs again, and after 2-3 syncs I found the ones that I needed, put them in the site then it activated properly. So if you're having the same problem thats how to fix it.

*2nd edit* oh my.. Anyway, although smcclay shortened the process and help out a ton with the site. I'm still willing to make a video if interested/give support

What if the site does not reply with 5 minutes? Because that is what is happening to my friends iphone 5s.

I'm actually having the same problem at the moment. I'm guessing it's been 20 minutes as I type this.

The string of numbers isn't long enough. You have to redo the process. Delete the baseband logs and redo the whole process. Use the theonlinemac/wind website picture example of how long the string of numbers need to be

It's most likely not on your end, you can try inputting everything in again but the phone linked to the site that sends the modded code is probably off or the whole site server is down. Waiting is your best bet

I just did my gf iphone and it worked. Make sure the string of code that you have is correct. Look at the example on the onlinemac website

Awesome, just tried it now and it worked! It was activated less than a minute after I copied the code into smcclay's website.

Thank you very much, smcclay, you are truly a wizard.

    Thanks a lot,

Everything working great. Both iMessage and Facetime. As a token of appreciation and your hard work a donation was sent your way. I invite others to compensate Steve McClay for his time and effort. Much appreciated.

I've been following the instructions on your site, smcclay, and I get the log files, but none of them ever seem to have the "GSM SMS Point to Point PDU (as hex str):" line in the file. Any solutions?

Are you on the pay before plan? If so, you will have to put some money into your account as the text message gets sent to an international number. This either costs .25 or .50 cents per text (I'm not sure exactly). Also, I believe you need to opt in to international texting on your Wind account page. In my experience, you will only get the GSM SMS Point to Point etc. if your text is successfully sent to the international number. Also, once you turn iMessage on make sure you wait a couple minutes for the text to process before you transfer the baseband logs. Hope this helps.

I just did all that. And then I got the baseband and found the number string, only when I inputted it into the website it said the number was invalid. Anyway, I'll try again tomorrow.

This was the number I got:

    Smcclay,

I have everything working fine, but I noticed today in my usage history that international texts are being sent every few hours to imessage activation number. Of course for me it is not an issue since I have unlimited global texts, but for other people who don't have it it might be a problem. Any idea why this is happening?

    Thanks,
