why it's important to read specs, details before installing any new app. LX only works with 64bit plugins. i had to abandon one of my faves because of this...but a choice i made BEFORE installing LX.
if you have some important 32bit plugins, contact the developers of THOSE plugins, and see if there are 64bit AUs...

Yep. If you already have Pro 9 bear in mind you can run that alongside Pro X for old projects. For new projects, this might be viable:
Hi Pond
I have Pro 9 and also the ProX... when i try to open all projects it already give uyp all the olf plugins.... I have Wave 8, then there is not 64 Bits plugins. How can i run alongside ProX??

I just got tooooo excited about the new Logic and i didnt read anything. I didnt expect any kind of problems
Thanks
The two applications coexist. You cannot use your new plugins in Pro X, but you can continue to edit existing projects in Pro 9.
Mike,
update your Waves Update Plan and you will get Version 9 of Waves and it's 64bit compatible plugins for very little Money. I think from memory its only $200 per year.
Cheers,
MB
Thank you Mark!!!! I will contact the people of Waves.
Take Care
