Oleophobic Coating

I've had my iPhone 5 for close to a year now. I was cleaning it about every other week to get rid of smudges and oil residue. To clean it I turned the device off, then used a damp microfiber cloth.
In the last month I've had to clean it daily, by the end of the day it's usually so filthy with oily smudges the screen won't even respond to touch. Now I'm looking at seeing if theirs a method to having the oleophobic coating reapplied.
I dropped by my local Apple Store and I had a Genius and a sales rep both inform me that theirs no such oleophobic coating compound! I even showed them online while I was there. Both responses were that, if it's not up on Apple's site it's just "rumour". Sales rep even went onto pressure me into a purchasing a screen protector after repeatedly saying that the finger print resistant isn't covered under warranty {I never once brought up warranty!}.
Now I'm sure my devices worn away though it's oleophobic coating. By days end my screens disgusting, I've been looking at the Fusso Oleophobic Coating Kit on Amazon. Has anyone used this, or their any other products I should know about, or their any non-online stores that carry these products?
I went into a Best Buy and that was another rep that handed me an Otter Box after asking about the fingerprint resistant spray.

I appreciate you taking the time to reply but "void my warranty"!?

How exactly does a few drops of a non-permanent solution void a warranty? How would Apple even know that it's been used on my device? Isn't this a less of a mod then the actual screen protectors that use adhesives?

iPhones

Clean iPhone immediately if it comes into contact with any contaminants that may cause stains, such as ink, dyes, makeup, dirt, food, oils, and lotions. To clean iPhone, unplug all cables and turn off iPhone (press and hold the Sleep/Wake button, and then slide the onscreen slider). Use a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Avoid getting moisture in openings. Don’t use window cleaners, household cleaners, aerosol sprays, solvents, alcohol, ammonia, or abrasives to clean iPhone. The front and back glass surfaces have an oleophobic coating. To remove fingerprints, simply wipe these surfaces with a soft, lint-free cloth. The ability of this coating to repel oil will diminish over time with normal usage, and rubbing the screen with an abrasive material will further diminish its effect and may scratch the glass.

I also found on Apple's site that they do in fact use a oleophobic coating. Unlike the staff at Apple that told me there is no such solution on Apple products and it does eventually wear off
