I was rushed and entered a restrictions password on my IPad. Now it will not allow me to change it. I wrote it down, but it does not work. Is there any way to reset it. I have the other password and connected email account. There is no ITunes, there is an Icloul backup. Help! Is there any way to recover this thing without losing all my paid apps??? Thanks!

Hi. Thanks for the suggestion. I looked into this, but then I would lose all apps and content. I have some apps that I have purchased that are stored on the Ipad which would disappear. They outweigh the benefits of in app purchases.
Might it be possible to get a refund for all apps and purchased content when I do a full factory reset, and then I will be able to reinstall and pay for them again? This would be painful, but it might be a way to move forward.

You're asking if you could get a refund because you forgot your password. I don't have a certain answer for you, but I don't think so.
To me that's like asking "My iPhone landed in the toilet. It's completely unusable. Can I get a refund and buy a new one?"
However, I do think you could recover any apps you purchased directly from the iTunes Store. Those apps should be linked to your iCloud (iTunes Store) account, and you should be able to re-download them.
Hey, are you still reading this? If so, you can save your apps. Simply reset your device and then log into your apple account and turn your device completely off and then back on. Once that is done, go to the app store and search the app that you have paid for. Since you already made the purchase with that apple ID, instead of coming up with the white button that shows how much money you have to pay to get the app, you will see a smaller gray button with a cloud and an arrow. Press that button and the app will install. To see all the apps you have purchased, go to your updates and update any apps that need updating. Once you do that is should come up with "Purchased" bar that you can click and see the apps that you have bought. Hope this helps.

If you have upgraded your iPad to iOS 7 .3 and you want to restore your iPad 2 to factory settings and re install iOS 7 and if you did not back up your previous iOS and you set restrictions with a different key from your log in 4 number key you will be prompted to unlock restrictions to dis able Find my iPad ! I then realised that I had for got my restrictions password so I went to reset all completely wipe from factory settings I can not open Restrictions so you can not do this on Itunes in OS X 10.9 Mavericks iTunes. so he will not be allowed to reset all.
I could be wrong ,lets find out I found when I installed Mavericks and the new iPhoto I got duplicates so I thought I would restore the iPad, it is a good idea when a new iOS comes along is to restore every thing is on the cloud so you just re down load ,He mihgt have hidden the Apps but you can still get them if you search for purchased.
