DOES NOT WORK, NON EXISTANT. i keep getting ntofications for game center, then i go search game center in spotlight to open it and there is nothing there? plz help

Have you looked in your Applications folder?
Yes i have, but its still not there, i have a picture attached with all the G's in my app folder and what comes up in my notifications.
Looks to me like the Game Center application somehow got deleted from your Applications folder, but the supporting system files are still present.
If Apple kept selling/including installation DVDs, it would have been an easy fix, as the Application could have been extracted from the installation files by a tool such as Pacifist.
There may be a way to fix it, but I can't think of it right now.
Do you have a backup where you could restore Game Center from?
If not, you are going to need to reinstall the OS to get it back by booting into the Recovery Volume (command - R at startup).
Thanks, i think it also might be that my laptop is a school computer, i have unblocked it, but there is still no app for gamecenter
