Why is the Apple Mac Developer portal down, and for how long?

I cannot access the Mac Developer resources this morning.

With a company as advannced as Apple, I would expect them to be able to roll out web updates

seamlessly.

I don't like being out in the cold.

I want to download the Mavericks Beta.

This honestly is beyond ridiculous. My boss told me I needed to have the app I've designed for our company finished several days ago. Because I didn't have a current up to date developer account I'm unable to put the app on my iPhone and iPad to test. I am supposed to go out with the boss in 30 minutes and show consumers/clients how the app runs but I cannot without having a certificate to publish the app to my phone from xCode. I am literally going to be yelled at for Apple's faults.

This better be fixed today or else my butt is on the line and will lose this job/project.

Hi crashpro.

I feel for you. You don't deserve to be yelled at for Apple's mistakes.

The only solution that exists for you is to physically take someone else's Iphone that is provisioned with Apple.

Like in an article i've read, an apple developer during this hack needed a working phone... so he took his old Iphone 4 from his SON and tested his app there.

We're going primitive on this. I hope you know someone who has a provisioned phone.

sadly I don't have a provisioned phone nor do I know anyone that has one that's within contact at the moment. The best I could do is head home and scramble to find an old tossed iPhone 4 and hope a sibling doesn't mind me jailbreaking it and load the app that way.

haha I mean I do live like 10-12 minutes away from Apple's Cupertino HQ, where my friend's parents are high up at, I should march on down there and complain. If only it were that easy 😟

What's this whole UDID thing people keep mentioning? I mean I know what it is but if someone added my UDID to their developer account would I be able to access a certificate for the app that way? Although probably safer to just wait for apple to fix the site.

It IS a dream.

I still cannot upload any new apps. Even though I have accepted this notorious license agreement in the new member center, itunes connect for some reason CANNOT detect I have pressed the accept button!

Here we go again.

I have already messaged apple support twice in the past 2 hours. The updated license agreement is USELESS if itunes connect cannot detect I've pressed the "agree" button.

For the love of venus... why doesn't apple complete the darn puzzle?! why finish step 1 and leave steps 2 and 3 behind? You need all steps to upload an app. Agreeing to an agreement is useless if they don't recognize you did.

Have to wait some more. Arghh.
