Have a Toshiba external hard drive that my PC was backed up to. The PC crashed - again - and is now essentially useless. Can't even reformat it. Is there anyway to transfer information from the back up drive to my new Mac Pro?

I have a Toshiba external hard drive that backed up my now useless PC. Is there any way to transfer he drive contents to my Mac?
