suddenly darker display
Suddenly this AM my display is darker and I cannot getit brightened up. Does it man the disp;ay is going south? If so can it be changed or do I have to purchase a nedw computer?

It could mean a damaged display. Yes the display can be replaced, you should contact your local Apple Store or AASP for support.
