I know that printer HP C4599 All in One can accept a printing order from my Ipad since I have run a test print , using some download application from the web. but now,I eep getting the "no pinter detected" reply. How do I get the Ipad to identify the printer once and for all?

In order to print from various apps you need an AirPrint printer. The HP C4599 is not an AirPrint printer.

You can get a printing specific app for your printer that will allow you to print from that one app. But you will not be able to print from Mail, Safari, Maps, and other AirPrint enabled apps without an AirPrint printer.
