Why does Logic Pro X still add new tracks even if IEv delete them?!

(Sorry for my bad english but I really need help! I can't use it like this)

Today I installed Logic Pro x and I got a problem...

After some time I opened the application...it (strangely) appears a pop-up that ask me if I wanna add another tracks and even though I don't want, it actually does! And still doing this till it add 500 tracks!!!

Even if I click "Cancel" it adds another track...and again....and again!!!!

Logic Pro X, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

nobody knows??

this screen appears automatically and it add new tracks even if i click cancel button or the key "esc"

Just out of interest.. but why do you want to open a project without any tracks being added?

That dialog only opens when you create a new project or you press the New track button.. and in both cases, surely you need a new track to be created anyhow....

Also, Logic won't let you have a trackless project open - However, it doesn't answer why it has generated 500 tracks for each time you had pressed cancel (!?)

..and when I just tested this...

If I select New Project and then press cancel in the Track Creation Dialog box... it takes you to the Open Template Dialog window.. and does not go ahead and creates a new track...

If I press the New Track button within an existing project.. and press cancel.. I do not get a new track created...

So, something else is going on... as I cannot recreate this behavior here...

Yeah, i'm not near Logic at the moment, but that's exactly how i thought it operated so the 500 track thing surprised me.

Maybe worth a restart Lucax2? And make sure you've got nothing laying on your keyboard or something which is acting as a modifier when you click the buttons.

News:

I create 6 new project (from template Hip-Hop) - just trying - and in 5 of them there's the same problem (😟) but in the latest one all seems works...i'll try for some minutes and then i'll tell you if still working or if the problem returns....

@skijumptoes I already DID try restarting the Mac but I don't see differences...

Updates:

the problem has returns 😟😟

but it appears more rarely and it now it adds just 2-3 tracks

P.s. even if there's already a track (or more) the problem appears

Walk us through, EXACTLY what happens if you create a new project (i.e. a blank one).

The new track request pops up, and if you select Create does it create a track and then asks again?

I'm just wondering if you may have a key command triggering it each time? Open up the Track menu at the top of the screen, and tell me what the key command next to 'New Track' says? i.e. is it a buttons and the character 'N' still?
