Running tableau software on a Mac

I want to start using Tableau, but don't want my IT dept to use that as a pretext for switching me from a Mac to a PC. Anyone have experience running Tableau on a Mac using either Bootcamp or a virtualization software? Any problems?

MacBook Pro (15-inch 2.4/2.2 GHz), Mac OS X (10.6.8), with monitor

not likely to be any issues

running windows on a mac is 100% the same deal as runing windows on any other computer

it's not any sort of emulation or apple stuff in over

you can play demanding 3d games and the likes the operating system just see the hardware as in intel cpu and nvidia or amd video chip and the likes

likely the same deal with virtual machine this Tableau program just seem to be some sort of economic program should run fine in a virtual machine it's not like it require a fast video card or even a fast cpu
