Had some issues with old iPhone, Apple replaced with new one. Backed up everything to iCloud first but have lost all photos. Any way to get them back?

Didn't you import them to your computer like you would with any digital camera? If you didn't do this, and they're not backed up, well, then they're gone.

To expand upon what gdgmacguy wrote, if you imported the photos thru iTunes to your iPhone, the photos are still on your computer.

If you took photos with your iPhone, they are in the backup. Did you restore from this backup?

You don't.

If you backed up your iPhone to your computer using iTunes, photos in the Camera roll were backed up.

Select the iPhone in iTunes, click the Photos tab and uncheck Sync Photos.
