When editing calendar events, time zone reverts to GMT

Hi folks

My iPhone is set to New Delhi, and when I create a new event in the Calendar the time zone shows as New Delhi, but when I later go to edit any event, the time zone shows as GMT. That means I need to change the time zone for the event again to New Delhi and then set the new time for the event. Does anyone know how to tackle this? Thank you.

iPhone 4, iOS 6.1.3

**APPLE FIX AND SOLUTION TO GMT CALENDAR ISSUE**

Here are the instructions for how how to fix the calendar events reverting to GMT time zone:

  1. Settings
  2. General
  3. Reset
  4. Reset All Settings

Once rebooted, the issue will be fixed. Note:

  • This will NOT delete any of your date data or media
  • Will ONLY delete your ringtone and any wallpaper

Hope this helps. 🙂

What a bummer. I followed your instructions mydannito get rid of the GMT calendar problem. The problem still exists but I had to set up sounds again as well as my fingerprint and passcode and my apple pay credit cards that I had previously entered. It was quite a pain for not solving the problem. Does anyone else have other solutions? Nothing listed above worked for me.
