My Macbook 6.1 don't sleep after closing the cover

Hello.

My computer don't sleep after closing it. The Activity indicator shows this fact, because it does not go "breathing" like every sleep. This is very annoying for my travels: the hard drive is not stopped. I don't understand this, because I haven't changed my preferences "energy savings" to completly standby. I read on other sites it would disconnect any devices, but even with this technique, the fate remains the same.

MacBook (13-inch Late 2009), Mac OS X (10.7.5), Hibernatemode is on the 3rd level.

Try resetting the SMC

Shut down the computer.

Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.

On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.

Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.

Press the power button to turn on the computer.

Note: The LED on the MagSafe power adapter may change states or temporarily turn off when you reset the SMC.
