Need help with wireless connection with Brother 2170W

I was able to print wirelessly from my Mac to a Brother 2170W until Uverse replaced my router/access point. I'm now able to print only by using a USB cable, but not wirelessly. I've re-connected the wireless link and get "Link OK" in the Wireless Link Status in my printer settings, but the printer does not show up in the printer utility box that pops up in the installation process (or on a restart). Nor does is show up to be added as another printer in the print and fax feature in System Preferences. Any ideas?

I've seen this kind of thing before. I used to have a Brother printer as well; same thing with the wi-fi connection having issues, and not being able to print on the network. Before this had happened I was always able to print. If there was a document, or even a picture that I wanted to have a physical copy of, I knew that my printer was there for me when I needed it. It was a good printer.

I recently ended up in the market for a new printer, and I decided that maybe I would try to switch to a different brand. Change things up a bit, ya know. So I bought an HP printer. I mean, its a good printer, but it just doesn't seem to be there for me like my Brother printer was, always ready to print for me.
