Suddenly I cannot see my devices in itunes? or the summary page I cannot sync photo's as I now cannot find the photo's tab

I have an iphone 4s. I normally sync everything via itunes automatically and suddenly I cannot sync, unless it's manually started. The device summary page has also disappeared, so I cannot see space avalable and also I cannot automatically upload photo's? I have tried diagnostics but nothing showing, all was fine until the latest ios update. Any ideas of what I can do are appreciated
