D2 Note doesn't produce sound in Logic Pro 9 and Logic Pro X

Hi,

I am using my Yamaha Motif XS8 as my MIDI Controller Keyboard to work with Logic Pro 9 / X and as well as other applications like Kontakt, Reason and Pro Tools 11. When I am using the Motif XS8 in Logic Pro 9/X, the D2 Note doesnt produce any sound. I have spent lot of my time going thru the Apple Support Communities and have tried the solutions like "Initialize all Key Commands", deleting the com.apple.logic.pro.cs & com.apple.logic.pro.plist files in the recommended process but nothing seems to help in fixing this strange problem. As I mentioned earlier, this happens only in Logic and I haven't assigned the D2 Note for a Key Command.

Any inputs to resolve this is greatly appreciated.
