My new mac air book keeps getting bumped off of Wifi at home, has anyone had the same issues? It works outside of the home. It works through ethernet at home. Any suggestions?

Everyone has this issue, or a huge percentage of new MBA owners do. There has been an Apple update recently to try to solve it but there may be multiple actual issues involved. I solved my problem by upgrading my old Linksys wireless router with a new Apple one. Others solved it (or at least solved it for them) by adjusting the security settings on their router or through a variety of other things. Go read this forum further down. You will find a near infinite supply of posts some with 70 pages plus of posts.

The problem here in the Tampa Florida was very low signal and everytime a neighbor popped on I was knocked off. I found the companies wireless home page and they showed me how to switch channels, they said to stay to the ends of the band channels 1 and 11 because most people use the middle numbers, It works OK but was a real pain in the rear. Finally Brighhouse put in a booster and that helped alot although I still have to change the channel eveynow and then, especially in the morning. I don't use any thing fancy just the airport that came with the computer and the cable companies router. Good luck with your issue.
