Q: Photo Stream Help?

I have Mac OSX 10.7.5 and IPhoto 9.4.3, but when I try to turn on "My Photo Stream", it is not showing in the source list.

How can I get it to show up. Have also tried to accept a Photo Stream invite, but cannot get this loaded.

Please help!

To set up PhotoStream see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4486 - How do I turn on PhotoStream

Basicallhy you log into iCloud in the iCloud system control panel and then turn on PhotoStream in the iPhoto preferences.

You can not use shared PhotoStreams until you upgrade to OS X 10.8.2 or later - see What do I neeed to use PhotoSream in the same article

I have already gone to Apple's help support for this problem. The problem is that under that support, it tells me to turn on "Photo Stream" under the source list, however, "Photo Stream" is not listed there. I am setup on ICloud and have the proper software. Not sure why it does not show up so I can select it. I am going to upgrade to 10.8 to see if that helps.

Log out of iCLoud and turn off Photo stream on all devices - reboot and turn them all on and see if it will start

you do not have the proper software for shared PhotoStreams - that is why

Have also tried to accept a Photo Stream invite, but cannot get this loaded.

    Shared PhotoStreams require Mt Lion

Have you logged into iCLoud in the system preferences as suggested?

I did log into iCloud in system preferences first as suggested.

I am currently downloading  Mac OSX Mountain Lion on my iMac. I will also need to download it onto my laptop.

Then, I will log out of iCloud and turn off Photostream on all devices and reboot them all to see if it will start, as you suggested.

Thank you for trying to help me. Will let you know what happens at that point.
