Can i use data port instead of headphone jack?
my headphone jack is broken.
Would an audio-out adapter + a female to female port adapter, work to play music through the data port to my earphones?

yes
as thats how one connect to docks which also comes in many versions which have speakers
so of cause it would be possible to make a pin30 -> 3.5mm minijack converter
