Q: How do I find my Passkey?

I am trying to connect my phone to my Mac by bluetooth. It is asking for a "Passkey"

how do I find this?

    The passkey is what you set it to on the devive you are initiating the pairing from.

     

    The device/Mac should show a random passkey on the screen, or allow you to choose your own, you then enter this same passkey on the other device/Mac.

     

    Alternatively, some devices use 0000 or 1234 as the default passkey.
