You won't be making a fool of yourself. You have a right to find out why they are defective and to have them replaced if they are. Don't let anyone make you feel that way. All you are trying to do is to find out if there is something wrong with them, or if there is something that can be done to make them work right. You paid for them, they should work.


Your iPhone is under warranty for manufacturing defects for 90 days after you purchase it. The earphones, cables, and other accessories that come with that phone that you paid for are also under the same warranty. So, don't be embarrassed to find out what is wrong with your earphones. It's your right to do so!
