I got iphone 4 from my cousin from US. i was so excited with its applications but unfortentely it has no sim card slot there , at the same time i heared it works in many countries and my question is ( Is it possible to work in malaysia and how is that ??) could you please share with me regarding this issue and your help is highly appreciated ..

Only the CDMA iPhone 4 does not use a SIM. The CDMA 4S has a SIM slot, but I don't believe it's required for activation, only for international roaming where there are no CDMA networks. An iPhone 4 without a sim card tray works with the CDMA network in the US, which does not exist in other countries, so no, it will not work in Malaysia.
You need an unlocked iPhone with a sim card tray for it to work in Malaysia.
This CDMA iPhone 4 is permanently locked to Verizon in the USA, and can't be used elsewhere, even if there are CDMA carriers in Malaysia. It's strange that your "cousin" did not know this, if he/she actually owned this phone.

It does not. It's a 3G CDMA only phone. It has not GSM or LTE abilities so no need for a SIM.
If you got an iPhone 4 without a SIM slot it will not work on any network in the Philippines. Please re-read the first answer given in this thread for further explanation.

Because it's a CDMA only phone that will only work with the carrier it was originally sold for. There is no GSM radio in it at all.
Because neither Sprint nor Verizon has service there. The phone was designed to work on one of those two networks.
