Caps lock doesn't work
The caps lock doesn't work and I can't now type the password to access my macbook air as I have a capital letter in the password

You can press the Shift key and the letter in order to type a capital letter.
Respecting to the Caps Lock problem, check that after logging in the key works. If not, does it turn on? Try to reset the SMC > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964 Do the same with the PRAM > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379
