I can hear the loop in the browser, i dont have the other track soloed, and the track isnt grayed out, however i have noticed that when i put a loop in with the green box next to it, it works, but if i put a loop in with the blue wave line in it wont play!

Jul 22, 2013 9:23 AM in response to ashy1972by Guitartist,★HelpfulGreen loops are MIDI and blue loops are audio. It sounds like you created a software instrument track, possibly by dragging a green MIDI loop into the arrange window. Green loops will play fine on a software instrument track, but if you drag a blue loop onto that same track you will not hear it play because it is audio, not MIDI.
One way to avoid this issue while using loops is to create an audio track instead of a software instrument track. If you drag a blue loop onto this track it will play okay because it is audio. However, if you want to mix it up and drag a green loop onto this same track, you can do so and you will be able to hear it play. Why?.......You may notice that the green loop is automatically changed into a blue audio loop simply by dragging it onto an audio track.
