Sharp Edge wrist rest on White Macbook

Has any one complained about how somewhat sharp the edge (where wrists rest) of the Macbook is? My wife seems to think they are they could be a little sharp if your not careful. Any thoughts?

i agree that the edge is too sharp. i had a couple of iBook's (G3 and G4) that had a nicely rounded edge such that you never noticed any issue with the feel of the edge. Then I went to PB G4 12" and the plastic rim was a bit on the sharp side. Now the MacBook is even sharper and has two edges, the top layer and the while outer casing. It definitely could use some smoothing out.

The sharp edge is inconsistent with Apple's normally excellent design. I got my MacBook yesterday and immediately noticed irritation by the sharp edge.

I have resorted to taping a piece of card stock on each side to round off the edge, and that helps. Apple should change the design.

Former models were excelent in this regard. I have iBook G4 and PowerBook G3 Series (Wallstreet) both of which are excellent in this regard (Wallstreet being the best of the three).

The sharp edge is currently my biggest complaint about my MacBook. I recently sold my old G4 iBook to my girlfriend (which I'm typing on right now) and the front edge is nice and rounded. The MacBook feels like it's cutting into the heal of my palms. My girlfriend immediately noticed the same thing the first time she played with my MacBook.

It's a real shame because I love everything else about my MacBook. Pretty serious design flaw in my opinion.
