I'm using Windows 7, started getting this error message

"The registry settings used by the iTunes drivers for importing and burning CDs and DVDs are missing. This can happen as a result of installing other CD burning software. Please reinstall iTunes."

So, I tried an iTunes repair. Still got the same message.  Then I uninstalled iTunes, still got the same message. Then I followed instructions http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923 to completely remove all iTunes files and restart computer, then reinstall iTunes - that still hasn't worked.

My daughter's Ipod is an IPod Nano 8GB don't know how to tell what generation it is and can't find that info on the iPod or the box or the booklet... (it's her IPod that we're trying to work with here).

Thanks

Tammy
