My MacBookPro won't charge and when pressing the button on the battery only one light flashes does it mean I need a new battery

Post your battery stats .... on the left of the menu bar, click the apple, about this mac, more info, systems report, and look at the power section.
Thanks for replying problem is I can't get any power to start up so can't get the info
