This is bull. My iMessage rarely works and is constantly glitching. I find myself never being able to receive or send iMessages, and the notifications are completely out of wack. I look up troubleshooting and I am offered no real solutions. I am extremely frustrated. Anyone able to help?? My iPad is only a few months old. This shouldn't be happening. Why do apple products receive all of this hype if they are constantly glitching????? Like I said, bull.

For most people it isn't constantly glitching so hence all the hype.
So if you have turned iMessage off and back on, confirmed you have a good WiFi connection, Reset it, Restored in from Backup, Restored it as new, and it still doesn't work then get it serviced under your warranty.
As far as notifications, if you have a WiFi only iPad Mini and it goes to sleep mode it loses the WiFi connection and you will not be notified of an incoming iMessage. Unless you have it plugged into power.
