Q: Connecting iphone 5 to macbook pro using blue tooth

Im trying to get my iphone 5 connected to my macbook pro. Both devices pair up. The problem is when I try connecting the phone to the mac is tells me my macbook pro is not supported. Can I fix this?

No, the Bluetooth implementation on the iOS devices only supports things like headphones, keyboards and systems in automobiles, not connection with computers.

Thanks for the info. That *****. Wish is would work with my Iphone and blue tooth bose speaker system. Do you know of an app that can accomplish this task.

This gives the supported Bluetooth profiles: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3647 what you need is on the other end, a device with the support Audio Distrubution Profile to interface with the iOS device...there a lot that are available to provide air-sharing of content.
