Q: my ipad says that icloud has not been backed up in 2 weeks and has locked me out. It is connected to wifi

My ipad has a message saying icloud has not been updated for 2 weeks despite it being connected to wifi and it has locked me out so that i can gain access.

iPad, iOS 6

Reset it by holding the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release.
