Q: My Apple TV is stuck telling me to plug it in when I downloaded the new software. How do I get past this?

My Apple TV is stuck telling me to plug it in when I downloaded the new software. How do I get past this? I do not have the cable the diagram is asking for.

If you can't get to the menu options, then unfortunately the only option is to purchase a micro-USB cable and connect it to iTunes to restore your Apple TV: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4367

Hi have the same issue. Connected to iTunes and did a restore. Restore is successful but the light on atv starts flashing again. Tried a number of times and still the same issue. Help
