How to Manually set Time and Date for 802.1x wpa2 enterprise support!

If you load an 802.1x profile on the Apple TV 3rd G, and disconnect the power the date and time reverts back to some unknown time which causes the certificates to fail with the Appletv code 5.3 latest update. Chicken and egg because AppleTV uses ntp to set the date and time. But you need to be connected to the network, but you can't connect if you don't have the correct time set.

If you power off, you lose network connectivity through your 802.1x profile wpa2 enterprise.

If you reboot, it holds on to the time and date. This is not ideal to manage these devices, because users may unplug the AppleTVs.

Please Apple Resolve this issue!

Either let us set the date and time manually or remember the time after power outages.

Cheers
