my huawei 3G data card is not letting me access through wifi, i have checked the device and it is working properly can anyone help?

i am facing problems in accessing my huawei 3G data card.

i am not able to connect the data card via 3G, macbook shows it is conneced with the wifi with my data card but i am unable to open any website,

secondly my laptop is not detecting my data card whin i insert it directly in USB port, while i try to connect the data card with my laptop through a USB extender, it detects it in few seconds only?

can any one help
