I have just down loaded new updates from apple and Google Chrome just hangs and crashes. Also some sites such as Spanish dictionary in Safari do not work whilst inputing answers to question that they set, this happens if I go from the page to a reference on another page. Also when moving to other pages within Google Chrome my front boot up screen appears momentarily.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

Was the update to Lion to bring it up to 10.7.5, or soemthing else? If it was the 10.7.5 update, sometimes re-applying the update using the combo installer sorts out odd issues that occur after an OS update:

The combo has all updates since 10.7.0 whereas the update via Software Update in the Apple menu just applies changes made since the previous point release.
