outlook emails sync with icloud

In my address book I have sections marked Contacts(these are ones I added recently) and ICloud (the bulk of my contacts which were transferred over when I had my iphone).

For the last 2 days I have been trying to send emails to 3 people all of whom are in the contact section from my computer using Outlook.The emails are shown in the sent box but the 3 people have not received them. I tried again and bcc myself in to one of the receipients. I had the email but the receipient did not.

Any suggestions of how to resolve.
