Sync according to Itunes Podcasts

Hi community,

I've a question regarding the Podcast app. I am listening to podcast, obviously, otherwise I wouldn't ask for your help. The podcast I am listening to were just added to my Itunes-library so far. After having installed the Podcast app to my Iphone, I was informed about the oppurtunity to syncronize the podcast I am subscribed for.

To me, this means that, while being logged in with my Apple ID, all the podcast on my computer should appear on my phone/the app and I should have the chance to stream and/or download them. Unfortunately this isn't the case. I just want to see the podcast, I'm subscribed for on my PC and have the chance to stream them. Could this be done or do I have to syncronize the podcast manually while having the phone connected directly to the computer?
