Jul 22, 2013 9:28 PM in response to SeaRavageby Tesserax,Is your goal with the AirPort Express to just stream iTunes or to extend the wireless range of the Cisco router? If it is to extend the range, will the connection between them be wired or wireless?

Jul 22, 2013 9:37 PM in response to Tesseraxby SeaRavage,Well it's not mine, I'm trying to fix it for my grandparents at their lake house.. But the way they previously had it set up was they had the AirPort setup to their stereo but also had it set up to their router to extend the wifi range.

Jul 23, 2013 8:35 AM in response to SeaRavageby Tesserax,At this point, we may need to start from the beginning. I would suggest that you power-down the Express and start with just the Cisco router. With just this router running can you get both local network and Internet access for all of the network clients?

Jul 23, 2013 11:22 AM in response to Tesseraxby SeaRavage,No with just the router we have no Internet. But my iPhone says that there is a network and that I have full signal but no connection to the internet

Jul 23, 2013 11:52 AM in response to SeaRavageby Tesserax,Ok, let's get the Internet back.
- Start by powering-down the Express, Linksys E2500, and the Internet modem.
- Power-up the modem; wait at least 10 minutes to allow the modem to stablize.
- Power-up the E2500; wait at least 5 minutes to allow it to stabilize. (Note: At this point do NOT power-up the Express.)
- Try accessing the Internet with your iPhone.
Please post back your results.

Jul 23, 2013 4:18 PM in response to Tesseraxby SeaRavage,I only have the e2500 and the Express. I believe the e2500 is the modem
