Would backing up my current stuff on icloud today overwrite what it currently stored from my last back up date?
I recently had a problem with my phone and had continued to use it since its last backup date. So I'm assuming if I were to backup my iPhone now that it would overwrite what was stored in June 2013????

Backups are incremental and when a backup is created for the first time it is a full backup and next time the changes are included in the backup so that it does not take that long to produce, so yes earlier backups are overwritten if that is what you are asking
Depends. If you use iCloud to backup, iCloud will keep your three most recent backups...if you have enough space. iTunes only keeps one normal backup, per iOS device. Read here:
