Hi. all of a sudden my iphone is not recognised by itunes or my computer. I run windows 7
make sure itunes is up to date> then power off and back on your computer and your device> try a different cord and make sure device is charged> if that doesnt work than uninstall and reinstall itunes!
If the reboot does not fix the issue
Try this:
1) Close iTune and Make sure iPhone is plugged in
2) Stop "Apple Mobile Device" service (Run -> services.msc -> Look for Apple Mobile Device and stop it)
3) Uninstall "Apple iPhone" device driver (Run -> devmgmt.msc -> Universal Serial Bus Controllers -> right click "Apple Mobile Device USB Driver" and select uninstall
4) Start "Apple Mobile Device" service (Run -> services.msc -> Look for Apple Mobile Device and start it)
5) Plug-in your iPhone and let Windows re-install the driver
6) Open iTune and hopefully it should detect your device now.
