I love Logic X's Drummer. It's totally worth the $200. I'm wondering if anyone has any insight into if there will be more 'Drummers' and beats available in the future? Or is it even possible for 3rd parties to add to the current library? A few reggae and latin options would be really nice to have.

Surely Apple could expand if they wanted, but nobody here knows either way. A third party may be able to reverse engineer it and create more, but who knows if it's possible and if it would be worth the trouble to just support one app (two including GB).
Feeling the same way - have a client who needs a cumbia beat, and none of the present dudes are much help. But it's an absolutely mind-blowing thing overall. Seems amazingly intuitive sometimes.

I just read elsewhere from someone with a buddy working at apple that they are hoping to have more drummers out before the end of the year. Hopefully future expansions will include more styles.

The drummer feature is so amazing. I hate for it to be limited to basic rock/pop. Bring on Benny! 🙂
