HELP! I deleted my Music Library files by accident.

Hello, This is my first post here and it is a doozy! I was messing around (always a scary thing) with Windows Media player when I noticed it was downloading my entire Library again duplicating all my songs. I use WMP to sync my iTunes songs with my smartphone. I decided to delete all the songs from WMP and did sending them all to the Recycle Bin and I then emptied the Recycle Bin😢. When I tried listening to my music in iTunes a screen would pop up saying the original file for the song had been moved. I looked in the My Music Library and all of the Libraries and folders were gone!

I went to my C drive and the files are still there but I don't know if that will help. I had 1794 songs with 531 of them purchased from iTunes. All of my music is still on my iPad Mini and iPod Touch. I have iTunes set up to NOT sync automatically. Additionally, all my purchased music is still on my laptop. The desktop is where I deleted everything from. I am using Windows 7 and IE 10.

If anyone can help it would be appreciated. I am in panic mode right now.

ouch. i am so sorry to hear that. I can help you get back those of which you downloaded from itunes, but for the other 2/3rds (I realize that is the majority), you my need to go about other means (if from CDs, reimport, etc)

Thank you for responding. I called Apple Support (and paid $19.99) and just redownloaded my music (purchased). I also downloaded iRepo from Purple Ghost and synced music from my iPod back to my PC via USB! It allows you to choose where to put the music even back into iTunes. Worked perfectly. It also synced my playlists, album art, etc. back to my PC. Only paid $11.99 for it. Wish I had used this first and not wasted the $19.99 with Apple only to be told to download from iCloud!

You only pay once for iRepo and can install it on up to 3 computers. I also used it to sync all of my music from my iPod to my laptop, which never had any music other than what I had purchased from iTunes. I am one happy clam right now! Thanks again for your response. Hope this info helps someone else.
